It's official! For my first post I am going to show you all how easy it can be to style any vintage or thrift items in your closet into a trendy outfit. It's so funny how this outfit came to be. I wore this a couple days ago to go run some errands, after getting out of the shower and having no idea what to wear (I wanted to look put together but with minimal effort), I stumbled into my dad's closet. I looked on the floor passed the mountain of what he calls a wardrobe and saw this fading black t-shirt. I quickly picked it up and said this will do. Once I finished getting dressed and checked myself out in the mirror, I said to myself: "Oh sis, this is definitely a look." So this is how I achieved this look: I paired the black "Miami Tourist Tee" with these Charlotte Russe jeans which I'm obessesed with (link below), adidas Originals Superstars, and super cute gold hoops from Forever 21 (link below). I chose to wear no makeup since it was a casual slay. Here are some tips to achieve your own look! Look for retro band tees which can be easily found in the mall or online now. Any thrift finds like the t-shirt I wore below can also be used. Pair that with distressed boyfriend jeans or flare jeans, for shoes go with your favorite pair of sneakers like Converse or Vans. To finish this look simple accessories are your best bet, gold hoops and aviator shades are the perfect combination. I hope you guys find this helpful and feel inspired to create your own throwback fit!
